Commandant: Pierre Savard
Commandant Pierre Savard joined the ranks of the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal in 1986. After working as a patroller and sergeant in several areas around the island of Montréal, he settled in Saint-Michel in June 2002 for his first stint in charge of a unit, when he was named commander of PDQ 30.
In January 2004, he was assigned to the Service à la Communauté in the south region, before becoming command and chief of Poste de quartier 15, which serves the Sud-Ouest borough.
After three years in the Sud-Ouest borough, he took charge of the Service d'ordre module at the Division de la Planification opérationnelle. Named commander of PDQ 44 in October 2008, Mr. Savard is putting his 23 years of experience to work to pursue police efforts in the Rosemont-La Petite Patrie borough and offer quality services to the local citizens.
Increasing the public's sense of security and maintaining a high level of satisfaction with the officers of PDQ 44 are Commandant Savard's main objectives.
