One of the least economically successful areas

- Extensive residential mobility
Includes a large percentage of the gay community
- Mainly located between rues Amherst, René-Lévesque, De Lorimier et Sherbrooke, in an area commonly known as the Gay Village
- Numerous businesses, bars, restaurants and boutiques that attract tourists
