
Commandant Éric Lalonde
Éric Lalonde took over the command of Poste de quartier (PDQ 16) in January 2008.
After joining the SPVM in 1993, Mr. Lalonde climbed through the all ranks of the neighbourhood policing model. Starting out as an agent in Ville Lasalle and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and then rising to superviseur in Saint-Léonard and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, he was promoted to neighbourhood lieutenant at PDQ 15 in the south-west borough in 2004.
Mr. Lalonde was awarded the rank of commandant in April 2007, and he worked as a cadre de service in the Division de la Qualité des services. He is very enthusiastic about putting his experience to use for the citizens of Verdun.
Commandant Lalonde perfected his leadership skills along a career path that has taken him from patrouilleur to commandant.
Commandant Lalonde graduated from the Université de Montréal with a degree in police and internal security management.
